The European idea was a matter of interest even in Emperor Maximilian’s time. The discovery of America resulted in a completely new configuration of the world. During this time of radical changes, the arts flourished amid noble-minded visions and cruel reality. As a «modern voice of memory», the musicians of Seconda Prat!ca devote themselves to this splendid musical legacy. The ensemble from Amsterdam will present its brand-new programme «Nova Europa» in the Spanish Hall, unearthing masterpieces from European and Latin American archives.
