She stands alongside the Spanish Hall as one of the most colorful places in Ambras Castle: the Nikolaus Chapel. The room is remarkable, especially for its wall paintings, competing with stained-glass windows in vibrant shades of red, yellow, blue, and green, all accompanied by the omnipresent gold leaf.

Green and gold also characterize a harp dating back to 1807, crafted in the workshop of Sébastien Érard in Paris, which will resonate under the fingers of Reinhild Waldek in our first chapel concert. Sharing space in the chapel, the green-gold lady harmonizes with a horn of similar age and origin, held by Claudia Pallaver. Last year, the audience delighted in the performance of the young Italian instrumentalist, and now, together with Reinhild Waldek, she presents a rare and captivating program from early 19th-century France in this chapel concert.

Your event ticket also serves as a public transportation ticket for two hours before and after the event within the core zone of Innsbruck. There is no Festwochen shuttle for the lunch concerts at Schloss Ambras. Please use the IVB Line M (direction Aldrans Fagslung) or Postbus 540 for your round trip.

ATTENTION: Parking facilities at Schloss Ambras are extremely limited.
