The lunch concerts, traditionally held in the beautiful pavilion of the Hofgarten Innsbruck, are a must on the Festwochen schedule. With its charming spots, pond, and numerous seating areas under the mighty trees, the Hofgarten is a true delight and a place for the soul. The pavilion, adorned with large windows and delicate frescoes, forms the centerpiece of this green oasis in the heart of Innsbruck. The Hofgarten dates back to the early 15th century when it was reserved solely for imperial highnesses, princes, and court members. Even Maria Theresa is said to have enjoyed time there. Today, the garden is open to everyone. Spending the noon hour in August with harmonious music couldn't be more atmospheric.
