Music is an art of the moment, the unrepeatable, an experience of the unique - not only, but naturally also in Christian liturgy. Music is an indispensable part of worship services. Its origin lies in the engagement with the word of God and fulfills a special function. In Innsbruck and Tyrol, music holds a significant place in religious services. Continuing in a rich tradition, the Innsbrucker Festwochen 2024 invite you three times to «Musik im Gottesdienst,» held in the most beautiful sacred spaces of the region: the Jesuit Church, the Wilten Abbey Church, and the Stams Abbey Church.
