Josipa Bilić, Croatian Young Musician of the Year and Zagreb Music Academy graduate, has already performed at Oper Graz, Szeged National Theater, Sarajevo National Theatre and Croatian National Theatres in Zagreb and Varaždin. Her notable opera roles include Amore in Orfeo ed Euridice, Despina in Cosi fan tutte, Ilia in Idomeneo, Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Massenet’ Cendrillon and Adele in Die Fledermaus. In addition to opera and operetta, she has a great passion for Lied, Oratorio, and Concert repertoire.
Josipa Bilić has appeared in concerts with the Grazer Philharmoniker, Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, Croatian Baroque Orchestra, Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu and Zagreb Soloists. As a finalist at the 9th Mirjam Helin Competition, Bilić debuted in Musikkitalo Concert Hall with the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra. She won the 12th Froville International Baroque Singing Competition and continues to perfect her early music repertoire as a laureate of the prestigious Les Arts Florissants Academy Le Jardin des Voix.
Josipa Bilić has received numerous international awards, including First Prizes at the József Simándy, Lions Grand Prix, Vera Kovač Vitkai, and Lav Mirski competitions. She was in final rounds of the International Hans Gabor Belvedere and Cesti competitions.
