A violin is a wonderful living being that breathes, produces beautiful sounds, and transmits its vibrations to its surroundings.
But how does a violin come into being?
Violin maker Claudia Unterkofler will explain how a violin is made, which tree the wood for violins comes from, and how thick the instrument's back is. You will see how the violin is constructed, and at the end, young visitors will even have the chance to take tools like planes, chisels, and other instruments into their hands.
One thing is already clear: Violins must be handled gently.
Please note: The course will be conducted in German.
In cooperation with the Innsbrucker Ferienzug.
